I am a registered and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with wide ranging experience and qualifications/training.

I have a generalist counselling and psychotherapy background in private practice and a counselling/casework background in working for NSW Health and non-government organizations in the areas of chronic illness, drug and alcohol, sexual health, men’s issues,  family support, grief and loss, homelessness and generalist counselling.

Apart from working in private practice I am currently employed part-time as a counsellor for theNCAHS, North Coast Area Health Service.

I also co-direct a counselling practice, Northern Rivers Counselling Practice, www.northernriverscounselling.com.au, am the director of a therapy centre in Mullumbimby, the space between Therapy Centrewww.thespacebetweencentre.com.au, and I facilitate therapeutic groups in private practice and for a variety of organizations. My formal qualifications include:

* Bachelor of Arts (USyd).

* Graduate Diploma in Counselling (UWS).

* Masters in Gestalt Psychotherapy. (BGT). (Current).

* Graduate Diploma of Adult Education. (UniSA). (Current).

* Certificate in Somatic Psychotherapy, (426 hrs/2 yrs), (A.S.I.A.).

* Certificate IV Training & Assessment.

I am a Clinical Member of CAPA, Counselling and Psychotherapy Association of NSW (Member No. 3825).

I am an Associate Member of GANZ,  Gestalt Australia and New Zealand.

Both CAPA and GANZ are Member Organizations of PACFA, the Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation of Australia, the peak body for counsellors and psychotherapists in Australia.  I am bound to the ethical codes of this association.
